The supreme court assaults the State Government behaviorism in the matter of national wide medical entrance test NEET exam 2012. For the first time, NEET exam is going to be conducted in the year of 2012 for national wide medical entrance test. The state government has filed petition to the supreme court to postpone the NEET exam for the term of one year. The supreme court advocates Mr. H.L. Dutta and C.K.Prasad opposed the petition and asked to take back the petition. They told that the decision has been taken for combined entrance test for year 2012-13 after listening to their arguments only. They also questioned that the formats, rules for the exam are said to be ready by this time .
The Governments of different states has petitioned for the postponement of NEET exam 2012 for one year as the students need to be fully aware of the NEET syllabus. The MCI (Medical Council of India) has also proposed to postpone the national wide PG entrance test for medical students. But after the supreme court has assaulted the petitions. They have taken their petitions back .
As per the supreme court orders the NEET exam is to be conducted on May 13 th 2012. And the results are to be announced in the last week of June.For the students to be used to the syllabus given by MCI the state governments of Andhra pradesh, Maharashtra , Assam Karnataka has petitioned for the postponement for sometime. In the year 2013-14 the state governments of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra are ready to join. The state government of Andhra Pradesh has proposed to join in the year 2014-15. The state government of West Bengal has proposed to conducted the NEET exam in their language for their state.
