Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th class pass or ITI or equivalent. Those candidates who are appearing and awaiting 10th class or ITI results are not eligible. Academic qualification must be from recognized educational institutions otherwise candidates will be rejected. Candidates with higher qualification may also apply.
Age Limit (As on 01/01/2014): 18 to 33 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Examination Fee: Rs. 100/- for Unreserved and OBC candidates in the form of Crossed DD from any Nationalized Bank or in the form of Crossed IPO drawn from any post office in favour of FA & CAO, West Central Railway, Jabalpur payable at Jabalpur.
Selection procedure consists of written exam for 100 multiple choice questions which have to be solved in 90 minutes followed by physical efficiency test. Physical efficiency test will be of qualifying nature only. Merit will be decided on basis of marks in written test. Date and Venue of Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test and document verification will be fixed by RRC and intimated to the eligible candidates through post. Syllabus for Written Examination
Questions in written exam are 100 multiple choice questions of 10th class standard only. They are mainly aimed to asses knowledge in General Knowledge/General Awareness, Mathematics, General Science, Reasoning etc. The questions shall be answered in 90 minutes. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents should reach the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway, RB-III/ 422/1-2, Nehru Railway Colony, Howbagh, Jabalpur or can also be dropped in the box provided at the RRC/ Jabalpur.
