IBPS means Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection.Some of public sector banks conducts this IBPS exam in every year.It is conducted twice in every year.This exam is also conducted for the posts of specialist officer every year.The detail notification will be published on the official website of the IBPS and in some news papers.

3)Maharashtra Gramin Bank recruitment 2013(has 231 vacancies for officers and office assistants)
4)Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2013(has 55 vacancies for officers)
5)Kaveri Grameena Bank Recruitment 2013(has 390 office asst and officer posts)
6)Saptagiri Grameena Bank Recruitment 2013(has 129 vacancies)
Eligibility for various posts:-
* Minimum of 60% in 10th std or
* Minimum of 50% in 12th std or
* Graduate in any discipline
Age : 18 to 28 years.
2)Probationary officer post:
* Graduation degree with a good aggregate.
Age : 20 to 30 years.
In india,there are total 67 Region Rural Banks(RRB) or Gramin Banks(After Recent Amalgamations). IBPS Conducted Common written examinations (CWE) for Officers and assistants posts in these Gramin banks.The recruitment in Gramin Banks will be through IBPS CWE Scores and is expected to continue for next few years at a good rate.
