IBPS conducts Common Written Exam(CWE) for 19 public sector banks for Clerks . As the first CWE result is out, candidates are waiting for the second CWE. Last time 44 lakh applications were received for the first CWE, 5.3 lakh students were successful and this time atleast 4o lakh applications are expected for the exam. The competition is very tough and ibps has set a history in competitive exams. Exam is conducted all over india but the recruitment is based on state level basis. once the candidate is qualified in the exam, score card is issued. Depending on the score, he is eligible to apply individually to the 19 banks participated in Ibps. Each bank have the different criteria and process of selection.

Now the ibps score is added advantage in private sector banks also. Till date notification has not released. The expecting information is provided. Generally ibps clerk notification will be released in the month of  Jul/Aug and exam may be in Sep. Eligibility of  clerk exam: 

The candidate should be citizen of india . The candidate should be qualified for under graduation with 6o% percentage of marks from recognized university .

Age limit:

The age of the candidate should be 20 to 30 years and the relaxation period is given to sc/st candidates for 5 years and 3 years for the obc candidates and 10 years for the widows , handicapped and ex- service man .

Exam pattern: 

Exam will be conducted for 250 marks and the time duration is 150 minutes. Each topic has equal importance and 50M is alloted for the topic and each question carries 1M.

Negative marking: For every wrong answer 0.25 m is deducted from the marks awarded to that question.total marks is rounded if  it is more than 0.50.

Application fees: 

For general: 350/- and for others 50/- only
