IBPS Clerk 2012 Age Limit

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 to Apply

IBPS has changed the bank recruitment system. Institute of Banking Selection Personnel (IBPS) conducts common written examination for the selection process. candidates who qualified in the exam will be issued a score card. Depending on the score obtained, candidates  are eligible to apply for the 19 public sector banks.

Educational qulification and age limit required:

Age limit: 

Candidate should have the minimum age of 20 years and maximum age of 30 years as on 01-aug-2012. age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ex-sman/widowed ladies/

Educational qualification: 

  • Candidate with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10thstd. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10-thstd. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent
  • A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. For SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration
  • Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
