Entrance Exam For Advocate
The entrance exam for advocate to practice law in india is BCI.BCI stands for Bar Council of India.Because of this test,logical capabilities and fundamental awareness of candidates are cheked out.This test will be conducted in the month of december in 9 languages of English,Bengali,Hindi,Telugu, Kannada,Tamil,Gujarati,Oriya and Marathi.There are 27 examination centers for attending the test.
Structure of BCI entrance test :
The questions in this test are of objective type,includes 100 questions on various areas.If a candidate pass in this exam,then he/she is eligible for practising in courts.If he fail,then he is not eligible for practising.There is no cut off marks for the test.In this test reasoning ability is important one.The candidates must complete this test in the period of three and a half hours.This test is open-book format,which means the candidates can bring text books,hand written notes into the examination hall.
Eligibility criteria :
Candidates who completes 3 year of 5 year LLB program are eligible for this test.Candidates must come from recognized university.age limit is not consider. Freshers are also eligible for this test.
