How to become a clerk in SBI ?
To become a clerk in SBI candidate must satisfy 2 conditions mainly, they are Age limit and Education qualifications.
Age Limit: As per Government rules and regulations Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Intermediate/12th class with 60% of marks for General category students and 55% for other categories or any bachelor Degree from any recognized university with pass marks.
State Bank of India recruits Clerks on the basis of performance of candidates in Written Test and Personal Interview. State Bank of India Clerks selection process is based on written test and Personal Interview.
Written test comprises of 5 papers, they are, General awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge. Each Paper has 40 Questions and each question carries 1 mark. Total time allowed will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. The candidate should attempt all Questions in that time period. But attempt carefully because there is also a negative marking for every wrong answer. If u want qualify the SBI written exam then you should pass all the sections and attain minimum 40% marks in all the sections. Those who qualify in written exam would be called for interview.
After crossing the level of passing written examination of the SBI clerk post the remaining process is of personal interview. The Person who is eligible is called for the interview by the examination department of the SBI through corresponding given email or phone contact. The interview is done by the higher officials of the organizations. Generally the questions are based on the banking sector, computer knowledge and the personal information.
